Jen Fyfe, Clinic owner, PhysiotherapistJen Fyfe is a licensed Physiotherapist (also known as Physical Therapist). A Campbell River local, she started this practice in 2007 to meet the needs of the community. This practice is all about providing Physiotherapy services to those whose needs do not fit within the typical system or setting. Home visits, long term care facility, remote community, hospital, and everywhere else! She has over 15 years of experience in Campbell River community Physiotherapy, with passion for neurology, empowerment and advocacy. She understands the North Island; the needs of our communities, the resources available, and our strengths. She truly loves providing home based Physiotherapy, as it meets clients right where they are at, and sets the stage for a genuine client centred approach.
Jen provides biweekly clinics at the Gold River Health Unit and Quadra at the U-Gym. She provides private Physio home visits in Campbell River and the North Island, with local clinic space at Alder Medical in Campbell River. She runs a Transitional Care inpatient rehab program at Evergreen Seniors Home, as well is there weekly supporting excellence in care planning and staff wellbeing. She also covers SD 84 for their Physiotherapy needs. Sydney Roberts, Athletic TherapistSydney is a well known champion in our community for implementing rehab based exercise programming and supporting individuals to achieve their goals in recovery and health optimization. Since 2013 she has provided athletic therapy 1:1 and in group settings, providing rehabilitation with musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary, and other chronic or acute conditions.
Sydney provides 1:1 therapy in client homes, working with both children and adults who are ready to take the next step in their rehabilitation/ exercise programming. She works under Jen as a PTSW or as an independent therapist, based on client complexity as assessed and determined as a team decision. As an Athletic Therapist and Exercise physiologist, she provides a comprehensive approach to getting you back to doing what you love. She enjoys working with those of all walks of life, from children to seniors. Karissa Spence, KinesiologistKarissa is a registered Kinesiologist originally from Saskatchewan. She completed her Bachelors of Kinesiology from the University of Regina in 2020.
Her experience supporting individuals from various populations allows her to create space to build relationships and encourage client's to reach their full potential. She brings a calming presence and is passionate about supporting individuals who need/want assistance completing their rehabilitation on a 1:1 basis. Karissa has completed her Trauma Informed 200 HR Yoga Teaching Certificate and teaches locally at Session in downtown Campbell River. She also loves exploring outdoors with her partner and dog. Karissa provides front end administrative support at Physio on the Run, and also works 1:1 in client homes as a PTSW under Jen or as independent Kinesiologist, based on client complexity. Kari |
