Jen Fyfe
Clinic owner and Physiotherapist
A proud Campbell River local, Jen founded Physio on the Run in 2007 to deliver Physiotherapy services individuals whose needs don't fit the typical health care system or setting. Over the past 19 years, she has built a trusted practice offering Physiotherapy in homes, long term care facilitiies, hospitals, remote communities - and everywhere in between.
Jen has a passion for neurology, empowerment, and client advocacy. she loves providing home-based physiotherapy because it meets clients right where they are, allowing for a truly client centered approach.
She works full-time with a flexible schedule to balance her professional work with family life, often home for her kids after school. Jen covers School Distrist 84, provides biweekly clinics in Gold River and weekly clinics on Quadra Island, and is the physiotherapist for Evergreen Seniors Home in Campbell River, alongside maintaining a busy caseload of home physiotherapy clients.
Outside of work, Jen enjoys surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and fishing,
with her husband and two children.

Karissa Spence
Clinic Manager and Kinesiologist
Karissa is our exceptional day-to-day manager, overseeing operations, supporting the Front Desk, and delivering clinical home visit kinesiology services in Campbell River and Cumberland. She values a balanced role combining leadership and direct client care, and approaches every aspect of her work with kindness and a deep commitment to support.
Originally from Saskatchewan, Karissa earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Regina in 2020. She is a Registered Kinesiologist with extensive experience supporting individuals from a variety of backgrounds and abilities, creating safe spaces for clients to build confidence and reach their goals.
Karissa also holds her Trauma-Informed 200-hour Yoga Teaching Certificate and brings a calming, empowering presence to her clients and team alike. She works full-time at Physio on the Run and teaches yoga classes in the evening at Session Studio downtown.

Sydney Roberts
Kinesiologist & Certified Athletic Therapist (CAT(C))
Sydney joined Physio on the Run in 2022, bringing over a decade of experience in rehabilitation-focused exercise support. As a kinesiologist and Certified Athletic Therapist, she provide 1:1 mobility and conditioning sessions that are delivered under the guidance of a Physiotherapy-developed care plan.
Sydney has a special interest in helping individuals recover from musculoskeletal, respiratory, and cardiac conditions. Her approach emphasizes functional movement, confidence-building, and sustainable progress, always aligned with physiotherapy goals and scope.
She works part-time in home and community settings and enjoys an active outdoor lifestyle with her husband and children, including soccer, skiing, and time in nature.

Nick Eglezos
Physio Support/ Exercise Scientist
Nick joined Physio on the Run in 2024 - and immediately felt like a natural fit. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Nick holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science from Deakin University, with a concentration in human movement, biomechanics, and motor control.
Before relocating to Canada, Nick gained hands-on experience supporting clients acress a range of settings, including clinical exercise interventions, fall preventions programs, and return to activity coaching. He has worked with individuals managing chronic disease, recovering from injury, and seeking performance optimization.
Now living in Campbell River, Nick works full-time as a Physio Support Worker, delivering 1:1 exercise and mobility support in homes, long term care facilities, and remote communities. He plays a key role in Front Desk / Social Media, delivering service in Gold River, and assisting with day-to-day operations and care continuity alongside Jen.
