Who We Are

JEN FYFE

CLINIC DIRECTOR  / PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Jen Fyfe is a Campbell River–based physiotherapist and the founder of Physio on the Run. She started the practice in 2007 to provide care for people whose needs don’t fit neatly within typical health-care settings.

Over the past 19 years, Jen has built a trusted, mobile practice delivering physiotherapy in homes, long-term care, hospitals, remote communities, and small partner clinics across Vancouver Island.

Her clinical interests include neurology, client advocacy, and care that reflects real-world capacity and context. Home-based physiotherapy remains central to her work, allowing assessment and treatment to happen where life actually unfolds.

Jen works full time with a schedule designed to be sustainable, balancing clinical work, leadership, and family life. Her practice includes School District 84, Evergreen Seniors Home in Campbell River, biweekly clinics in Gold River, weekly clinics on Quadra Island, and a broad home-visit caseload.
Outside of work, Jen spends time outdoors with her husband and two children — surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and fishing.

Originally from Saskatchewan, Karissa completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Regina in 2020 and is a Registered Kinesiologist. Her work is grounded in creating safe, supportive environments where clients can build confidence, capacity, and trust over time.

Karissa also holds a 200-hour Trauma-Informed Yoga Teaching certification and brings a calm, steady presence to both her clinical work and the team. In addition to her full-time role at Physio on the Run, she teaches evening yoga classes at Session Studio in downtown Campbell River.
